PAE is currently seeking Elevator Technicians for initial 24-month contracts at the U.S. Embassies in Moscow, Russia and Beijing, China, with the possibility of extension and relocation once the core contract is complete. There is great potential for long term employment! As part of the PAE team, you'll earn a highly competitive compensation package that includes a salary of $3,700 per month, plus overtime, a $10,000 incentive bonus, on-call pay, pay for work done on U.S. holidays, a $7,400 contract completion bonus, and an annual merit bonus. Aside from FICA and Medicare, you'll be exempt from income tax (due to the Federal overseas tax exemption.) PAE will also provide you and your spouse with free furnished housing, all utilities included (except phone). To top it off, there are 5 weeks of Paid Leave per year, plus up to 20 U.S. and local holidays off. That's the equivalent of working 10 months in a year!

Successful candidates will be U.S. citizens with three to five years of experience in maintenance / repair / troubleshooting of passenger and freight elevators, dumbwaiters, and handicap lifts. Experience with hydraulic, traction, roped hydraulic, and rack & pinion elevators is required, as well as a solid understanding of relay and solid state controls, VVVF drives, MG sets, and DC control drives. If selected, you will be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Candidates who receive the security clearance and are selected for one of the positions will need to pass a thorough medical exam required by the U.S. Department of State. Medical expenses will be reimbursed at the time of employment.
